PANGS NI is first and foremost a peer-to-peer support group based on Facebook which aims to provide a safe space for women going through a maternal mental to openly seek support.
The group can be found here and is a closed group which means only members of the group will see your posts. They won't show on your news feed to anyone who isn't in the group.
PANGSNI.org is a resource website which provides information and signposts services as well as offering helpful tips and advice.
SOS - If you in crisis or despair, please click the SOS button at the top right of your screen. This will give you information on helplines, medical services and self-care tips. If you or a family member is having thoughts of suicide or self-harm, please dial 999 immediately.
RESOURCES - In this section you will find lots of helpful information on maternal mental health issues as well as videos and articles to help you manage your condition or support a loved one. There is also a section containing Care Pathways which outline the process of receiving medical care from a health professional. You can print these off and bring them to your GP to help guide your care.
CAMPAIGNS - Keep up to date with all of the campaigns aimed at approving maternal mental health services for women in Northern Ireland as well as all the latest medical research.
OUR STORIES - Sometimes it can be enough to know you are not alone and reading the stories of other women and their families who are going through the same thing can help.
