  • THE POWER OF PURPOSE – VOLUNTEERS HOST FIRST SOLD OUT MATERNAL MENTAL HEALTH CONFERENCE IN BELFAST THE POWER OF PURPOSE – VOLUNTEERS HOST FIRST SOLD OUT MATERNAL MENTAL HEALTH CONFERENCE IN BELFAST

    Article from: www.lovebelfast.co.uk

During Maternal Mental Health Week, Moment Health will sponsor the first sold out Maternal Mental Health Conference in United Kingdom and Ireland bringing together health professionals with the express purpose of tackling maternal mental health and related illnesses.

  • Help keep PANGS NI going

PANGS NI started in 2014 when a Belfast mum, struggling with postnatal anxiety, decided to start a Facebook support group to find others in the same situation. From there, PANGS NI has grown to include the website (www.pangsni.org) and a Facebook blog, both of which act to signpost families to where they can get help, support themselves and others and to share their stories to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness.

In order to keep our website running, and to produce some leaflets and support cards that we can give to families in need, we need your help! We are trying to raise £500 and any contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference to families dealing with a perinatal mental illness.

Please if you can, visit www.gofundme.com/pansgni and make a donation. Thank you!

Testimonials

Just wanted to add that I wouldn't be here without Michelle, who paved the way for all of us and made sure that people noticed us instead of just giving us a place to hide.

I'm constantly amazed at how generous everyone is with their support. Even when going through arguable the toughest times in their lives, these women give hope and understanding to each other.
